Getting Started

Please go to www.godaddy.com and pick a www. address that is available. Do not purchase it I will do that for you. At this time I will need a $400 down payment Paid to me (Troy). You can contact me by using my feedback box. At that point I will be handing everything. All website building questions will be directed to me. Once I am finished with the site I will need the final payment mail to me at- (Info Coming Soon)

You must pick a template from the template page or go to Bravenet.com's website and pick a template there. They have over 500 to choose from and I pay them yearly to be able to use their templates. Templates are basically the look of your website. I can change the picture on the template but not the color.

If you'll look to the top left you will see the words-Home, Pricing, Templates, Getting Started and Webmaster. These are the names of the pages on my website. Most websites always have a home page and a contact us page. Depending on your business you will need to decide on the pages that best represents your business. I will help you decide on the page names for your website.

You will need to figure out the material for every page on your website. That includes text information along with pictures. If your selling a product. You will need a very descriptive paragraph describing that product along with pictures if possible. If your providing a service you will need to describe your service in great detail. Your paragraph and text information will need to be packed with Keywords and Key Phrases. Give me a call and I will help you with this task. Having a big note pad and jotting the info down is the best idea. It helps if you use a pencil.

When search engines like google and yahoo scan your website they are looking for the information in your meta tags and the key words and key phrases on each page of your website. It is important to have as many key words and phrases that relate to your business included in the paragraphs on your pages. I will need a 2 line description about your business. This will be used in your meta tags. The more key words and key phrases you have on your website the better it will do.

Once you pay half down I will send you the link were you can fill out forms for the text information for each page. The forms are not difficult and should be easy to complete. If you have any questions you can give me a call or send me an email.
